Bottle at Café De Koffer, Groningen. Aroma is tart stone fruits with lots of fruits, citrus, nicely tart and soft hoppy notes. Nicely fruity and sour, medium body. More Alvinne greatness, just so well-balanced and sour fruity.

Bottle at home, 5th January 24. Clearly the only Vaccin I will ever be taking. Pours a chestnut orange brown colour, small head. Aroma is tart fruits, hoppy, dank, musty. Taste is tart, maybe rhubarb, sour, musty, complex, refreshing, sweet and sour. Lovely

4/VII/21 - sample on tap @ DOK bierfestival (Ghent), BB: n/a (2021-586) Thanks to the GBV-crew for sharing today’s beers!
Cloudy deep orange to almost amber beer, no head. Aroma: very oxidized, malty, weird, grains, pears, quince even. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very sour start, fruity, some vinegar, bit sweet, caramel. Aftertaste: fruity touch, vinegar, sour, lemony, sugary at the same time, a bit metallic, peaches, apricots, some vinegar.

Draught @ Pien Brewpub, Helsinki. Tart, funky and slightly fruity with hints of floral notes, earthiness and gooseberries. Not very IPA-like, feels more like a sour blond.

27th February 2021
Bright clear amber gold beer, short lived bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts but whatever sweetness they bring is quickly subdued by some fairly typical aggressive Alvinne sourness, with an acetic acid bite. Little lemon sherbet provides some relief. I must have bought this for the seldom seen Barbe Rouge hops. There is a trace of berry fruits here, especially on the finish, candyish berry fruits. Some slightly resinous and ripe citrus lurking away somewhere. Could have been a good one but the acetic acid bite vastly reduces the drinkability for me.
