The IPA strength cousin of our original King St. Pale! It retains the pale, smooth and oaty base, but takes a huge charge of classic US hops to give a massive mango, pineapple and orange aroma.

440ml can, kindly shared by Finn. Pearl white head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Hazy golden-orange body. Appealing aromas of dusty hops and lemon. Fresh fruity taste, including semi-tart lemon. Nice bitter fruit finish. Fine depth. Likable IPA version. (Tromsø 01.04.2020).

[Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence.] A very hazy amber pour with a loose white head; tropical fruit aroma; sour and fruity int he mouth, with a pineapple milkshake taste; followed by some warming chilli-like spice and well hidden alcohol. A satisfying pint, and a good start to a new year.
