Myk I munnfølelse. Noe cherry feeling. God sødmefull avslutning.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - bottled on 06.01.2020 - BB 10.12.2024, thanks tiong, at Arde, 20211008) The beer poured oily and black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had wood, burnt malts, liquorice, smoke and vanilla. Palate was full bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, wood, vanilla, vineousness, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was woody, burnt and bitter. A delicious burnt brew with balanced barrel notes.

330ml bottle. Sweet and heavy with oaky whisky notes, toffee, syrup, caramel and prunes, hints of plum and salty licorice. Pretty good.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of black chocolate notes with some with some light vanilla and whiskey barrels notes is quite pleasant. Taste is a mix of black chocolate notes with some light vanilla and whiskey barrels notes with some residual sugar notes and light warming alcohol notes. Body is full with medium carbonation and light warming alcohol notes. Very enjoyable BA stout.

33 cl bottle @ home. Batch #47191: bottled 06.01.2020, BBE 10.12.2024 Aroma has balsamico, winey tones, salty licorice and mild rubbery tones. Flavour has salty licorice, herbal tones, soy sauce, sweet maltiness, some licorice and mild coffee tones. Too salty for my taste. At the end of the glass the saltiness fades away and this gets sugary sweet tones reminding me of DH3/DH4. However, drinkability suffers.
