Hazy amber beer with a small off white head. Smooth palate, a little dry. Bitterish marmalade hops with a little grapefruit. Light apply streak. Reasonable malt base. Finishes dry and bitter. Could do without the apple, but otherwise good.

Bottle at GBBF 2013 and drunk at home. Hazy dark amber colour with lasting off white head. Malty aroma, indeterminate yeast aroma. Good condition. Some good peppery hop on finish. I’m guessing it’s a British Best Bitter. In that case it’s excellent. A good blend of yeast malt and hop. Really characterful and a good example of the style.

26/04/2013 Bir&Fud (handpump). Dorata lievemente torbida, schiuma bianca morbida, abbondante e abbastanza persistente. Al naso sentori di malto e luppolo, note abbastanza esplosivo leggermente fruttate, terrose ed erbacee. In bocca è equilibrata, con un gradevolissimo tocco inglese e un amaro lungo e persistente con note erbacee. Corpo leggero, ottima beva, carbonazione flat. Gradevole.
