Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of wet hay, caramel, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, candy sugar, and spices, leading to a bitter finish.

Dobre smaczne i rozgrzewajace piwo.

375 ml. Corked & caged bottle @ home. Procured from Het Natuurhuis in Antwerp. BBF 09/2013 so this is a Vintage? 2012 or 2011 presumably? Light pomegranate amber, slightly brown, little beige head. Nose is vinous, acidic as in sour infection, big funk, candy, boozy, big barn, eh, this doesn’t smell right, it is like warning. Taste is sour candy, caramel, syrupy, boozy, funk, acidic, wine sour infection, rotting barn, lots of mould, burning, boozy,… Bit high carb. this doesn’t seem right, sigh, I hoped for something nice here.

Inconspicuous yellowish head over amberish, muddy beer. Bit of cookie malts, faintly coloured malts, touch of milkchocolate, and pineapple ester. Spiced, coloured malts, parsley and quite some yeasty esters. Falls a bit dead. Medium bodied. OK, well, it’s organic. I hope that doesn’t explain it.
