The light alternative with full enjoyment! The Heimer shines light yellow and shiny fine under its dense foam cushion. In the nose it convinces with its fine, slightly woody note and the fresh hop flower, which make you want to take a sip. The balanced hops and the malt impression, decorated by the slight sweetness, give the beer an unexpected body.

"Müllerbräu Pfaffenhofen Heimer Leicht", Flasche von Edeka Knoll, Hettenshausen. - "35 % weniger Alkohol als unser Helles!" jubelt das Etikett. Leider sind mit dem Alkohol auch mindestens 50 % der Vollmundigkeit und des Geschmacks flötengegangen. Zurückgeblieben sind ein abgemagerter Malzkörper und milde, recht billig wirkende zitronige Hopfenherbe. Nur als Durstlöscher zu gebrauchen. (29.3.2025.)

Bottled (from web-bier.de). Golden colour, mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is wheat, mild citrus, yeast and some parfumed soap. Flavour is floral, grassy, herbal and some grainy and cardboardy tones.

Bottled 500ml (AIH128)
Clear golden colour, small white head. Grainy, wet dihcloth aroma. Light-bodied. Watery. Mainly metallic notes, low bitterness, malts don't run much either.

500ml bottle drank at home on 20th May 2020 during the virus Lock In. Pale golden pour, clean and clear; on top a fast fading white crown. Aroma had a touch of maltiness, as did the taste, but although it's refreshing enough there isn't much going on nose of flavour wise.

Bottle looks very simple, but okay. Beer in the glass deep golden, zippy, nice head. Starts mild but not washy, fine hoppy-dry notes. Not as bready as other beers of this style. Finish well balanced, a bit moldy, but still okay. Better than exspected!

Definetly one of the better low alcohol/calory lagers I have tried: Pale and heavily carbonated, but with a nice rocky head. The carboard in the nose is very effectively masked with a good load of bitter and aromahops, likewise is the taste dominated by hops. Body is fuller than expected. Really nice brew actually.
