PINZ Rauchbock (naturtrüb) ist ein kastanienfarbenes, naturtrübes und nicht pasteurisiertes Starkbier. Es wird mit auserwähltem Buchenrauchmalz gebraut, wodurch es einen reinen und ausgeprägten rauchigen Charakter und eine angenehme Bitternote enthält. Drei verschiedene Hopfensorten machen es zu einem ganz einzigartigem Starkbier.

Bottle picked up from Getränke Wallbruch, Wetzlar, Hesse and consumed at Haldern Music Festival Saturday 13th August 2022 sat outside Frank. Cannot determine the colour as drinking from my festival glass, smokey but quite nicely done. A little sausage, there is a little sweeteness. Good.

Pinz Rauchbock, Flasche von Edeka Kaiser, Fleisbach. - Trüb orangebraun. - In der Nase frische aber milde Raucharomen, Schinkenspeck, überlagert von Bonbonsüße, reifer Frucht, Sahnebonbon und Vanille, abgerundet durch dezente mediterrane Kräuter. - Im Antrunk reife süße Frucht (Pfirsich), leichtes Rauchmalz, feine brotig-karamellige Süße. Brausig rezent, ohne bocktypische Schwere; gut kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang nur blasse Herbe mediterraner Kräuter. - Harmloser, dünner und zu süßer Bock, den auch die fein dosierte Rauchmalzgabe nicht retten kann. Reicht nicht annähernd an ein fränkisches Rauchbier heran. (11.4.2021.)

Amber with a big, frothy head. Aroma of campfire, salami. Taste is mildly sour with some very mild bitterness. Medium bodied, balanced carbonation. Not bad.

500ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. Smoky malty aroma, notes of ham, birch ashes, a grassy hoppy touch, yeasty spicy overtones. Taste is smoky and caramel malty, notes of ham, some caramel, birch ashes, grassy hoppy overtones, a spicy yeasty touch as well; minimally watery passages. Not bad.
