Can from the lcbo. Clear brown pour, with a medium beige head. Aroma is nutty, bready, cereals, light grass. Good mouth feel, solid carb. Finish is low to medium bitter, good hops, fantastic malts.

This alt poured a clear amber colour with a off white, creamy head. Fantastic lacing. Scents include toasted biscuit, must, caramel, wood and freshly cleaned washroom. First swig was very good. Flavours of basement, oatmeal and biscuit. Finish is malt and toast. Slightly bitter.

An orange amber ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with grassy hops, German hops, OK. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with grassy hops, light mineral notes, light chalky notes, pleasant. On tap at brewery.

Can from the LCBO. Clear dark copper with a small lingering off white head. Nose is brown sugar, earth, resin, grass and some minerals. Light+ brown sugar sweetness with a light-medium grassy bitterness. Mouth is medium and sticky with average carbonation. Solid. 7/3+/7-/3/14

Can that pours a clean amber colour with an off-white head, leaving some dirty lacing. Aromas of dark malts like rye giving some spiciness with caramel notes and other grains. Cereal grain taste as well with less caramel sweetness, balanced with the hops giving enough dryness and bitterness. This does show the cereal darker grains of an altbier, and the Steam style, all in an easier drinking amber ale. All blended with the hops, this is pretty good.
