Celebrating that Dugges in the year 2020 is turning 15 years old we’ve brewed 3 very special beers. This is 15 Stout! An imperial stout with 15 different spices. We’ve put vanilla, cinnamon, cacao, tonka beans, licorice, salt, ginger, cardamon, muscovado sugar, coconut, coffee, poppy seeds, nutmeg, clove, star anis in there! Cookie!

An Englishman Walks Into a Bar.
In 2002 Mikael Dugge Engström, the founder, CEO and Brew Master of Dugges Bryggeri, had a meeting with an Englishman. What was said at the meeting has long since been forgotten. What was said at the following pub visit is why Mikael in 2004 started Dugges and why we are here today, 15 years on.

This beer, and the two other beer that make up this series is a ’Thank you’ to everyone who’s supported us by enjoying our beers since that first ever mash-in by Mikael Dugge Engström 15 years ago. We raise our glasses for you.

(Bottle) Black colour with no head. Malty, roasted, vinous nose with notes of caramel, sweet espresso, cacao, liquorice, vanilla, tonka beans, cinnamon and coconut. Malty, roasted, sweet taste with treacle, caramel, sweet espresso, dark chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom, coconut, tonka beans, sweet liquorice, star anise and a mild roasty bitterness in a sweet and slightly boozy finish. Full body, really sweet. Rich, sweet and boozy, with lots of flavours. Hardly balanced, but really tasty. Very nice.

Bollte from Systembolaget beställningssortiment. Black with a minamal head. Sweet with chokladboll, cocoa, cardamom and some notes of vanilla. Sweet but kind of ok.

Svart farge med beige skum. Lukter sjokolade, røstet malt. Meget søt. Sjokolade, lønnesirup, lakris og krydder.

Smell of chocolate, gingerbread. Black colour, tiny brown head. Aroma of gingerbread, licorice, chocolate, mudcake. Some roasted malt. Super sweet. Lively carbon.

Fat Växjö på Kapitelhuset. Färg? Meningslöst är ju en Imp stout. Doftar ? Jo sött och lite blommor och nån godis. I munnen ? Ja fasen smakar tydligt den där Tonkabönan. Läser på ölen den innehåller den numera populära tonkabönan . God jävel från Dugges. Återigen 👍
