Can. Pretty much an opaque dark brown beer, good bubbly tan head that dies back quickly. Fairly light palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts host an almost honeyish caramel, like turbo charged Crunchie bar, but less sweet. The salted caramel is there but playing second fiddle to the dark malts. A little fruity dark chocolate on the slightly spicy finish. Tidy but I think Uiltje would have been better off choosing a barleywine to deliver their salted caramel idea.

Can. Black pour. Aroma of boozy caramel, roasted malt, salt, licorice and some smoke. Taste has salty caramel, a lot of booze, dark chocolate, licorice, smoke, savory cookies, juniper berries, roasted malt and molasses. This is actually quite nice, I was affraid this would be very artificial. I like how juniper is still very present. Good variation of this great Uiltje stout.

11/V/20 - 33cl bottle @ ElManana’s place, BB: 17/IV/25, canned: 17/IV/20 (2020-413) Thanks to ElManana +1 for sharing the can!

Clear dark brown to black beer, no head. Aroma: nice roast, lots of dark chocolate, bit malty, coffee notes. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: coffee, good roast, sweet, bit malty, caramel, dark chocolate, slightly salty, lovely stuff. Aftertaste: more roast, chocolate, malty, lots of bitter hops, bit salty, lovely beer!
