Sometimes you gotta Shake things up. The luscious combination of Nelson, Simcoe, and Citra hops in this hazy double IPA is a rush. Big citrus notes and a balanced juicyness that could wake up a skeleton.

Nelson is pretty potent. Murky yellow pour with good head and lacing. Sweet finish, lots of caramel. It's a carmely type IPA. Tap at Snally.

Draft at Snallygaster 2024. Poured a slightly cloudy orange color with a white head. Aroma was citrus, grass. Rich and creamy tropical fruit, nice and tasty. Cold pour, quite delicious.

This hazy yellow beer smells very juicy with citrus and mango. The flavor is malty and pretty sweet with mild to moderate bitterness, loads of juicy citrus, and some resinous hops. Very good.

Canned 9/27/23, drunk 10/25/23. Heavily hazy, peachy-golden with a firm, off-white head atop. Nose shows quite a bit of Simcoe - very woody, lightly piney, with a bit of nelson-like spice and scant citra. Cracker and honey-like malts seem to balance nicely and there's no alcohol or flaw noted. Same Simcoe dominance in the flavor. This is almost a month old, so I'll give it a bit of a pass on the by now mostly woody, resinous, piney flavors. Some spice. More drying resin than actual bitterness. The malt is massive. Big, burly, sweet, with rich honey-like notes. Could be a bit more attenuated, but this is very solidly-made all around.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a hazy straw gold with a finger of white foam. Pineapple, citrus and mango aromas. Drying on the palate with nice tropical fruit notes...abv hidden well. Really good DIPA.

Pours hazy dark honey into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving trailing spiders. Hot mango, papaya and passion fruit aromas. Soft with overripe mango, passion fruit and lychee upfront turning to dry citrus peel and mango pith in the medium length finish.

Can (1/25/21) pour from trade with Johnnnniee via The Packie--thanks, John! It's an opaque dark yellow-light brown with tons of sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width off-white creamy foam head with good retention and light soapy lacing. Aroma is strong tropical fruit with hint of earthy herb, orange creamsicle, mild citrus astringency and yeast and grains in the background. Taste is strong tropical fruit, orange creamsicle, light melon and yeast/grains. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with thin, creamy, frothy texture, average carbonation, mild pleasant alcohol warmth and dry finish with lingering yeast and mildest of bitterness. Overall, great strength to aroma and flavor. Am a little unsure whether to be amazed how they got 8% ABV to feel so light (drinks like a session!) or to feel it's too thin for the style. Good nonetheless.

16 oz. can. Born on: 1/25/20. Flavor shows like grapefruit and floral upfront with a light bready malt body. Ends on straw, pine and herbs. Mild juice balanced by soft pine like bitterness. Above average for sure.
