A wintery take on our classic Hells lager. Hazy, unfiltered and brewed with apollo and chinook hops to give this beer its piney spice aromas and citrus freshness. Not like your air freshener, but more like a stroll amongst the spruce back to your log cabin. A cosy woodland hibernation in beer form.

330ml can. Poured a hazy straw colour with a short-lived fizzy white head and plenty of bubbles. The aroma is yeasty, mineral, piney, tropical citrus. The flavour is light bitter and sweet, with a fresh, crisp, piney hop, pineapple citrus, light pepper spice palate. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation.

[33cl can from M&S, Bracknell.] A hazy pale straw coloured pour with a fast fading, soapy looking white head; berry fruit aroma; fruity, biscuity body; with a sharp fruity bitterness and a vegetal finish. Odd.

Can at home, from Waitrose, 26th January 2020. Pours clear straw in colour, nice white head. Aroma is grass and straw. Taste is clean, grass and straw, really refreshing and a lovely bitter finish, very good.

Can at home in Hackney - sourced from M&S Canary Wharf. Pours totally clear, pale yellow with a foamy, white head. Not bad, pretty well balanced, just a little paper, pale cereal, nips of bitter hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more dried, pale grains, little straw. Not bad. I generally like Camden lagers; this one is a notch below their best stuff though.

Can at home picked up from M&S. A light hazed bright pale straw coloured pour with a lively rocky white froth. Aroma is nice fresh cereal grains, pine needle, light grass. Fresh on the nose. Flavour is composed of light cereals, grain husks, spicy pine, lemony zip, floury wheat. Palate is spritzy, light chalk, high carbonation, refreshing. Good.
