Bottle at Kookfest 06. Golden with thin off white head. Hoppy aroma, grapefruit, bit of cheese? Dull in mouth, bit better than usual lager. Hoppy spritzey finish. Fine.

Another totally unimpressive beer from this brewer. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a pale golden color with a large white head. The aroma is sour macro tang. The flavor is spicy, piney and has light fruity hops. A dry peppery finish comes to dominate. Not particularly pleasant.

12 oz bottle brought to me by a friend on a visit to D.C. Bottled on 03/08/06. Wow then I am getting it fresh. Pours with no head. A completely lucid cheap golden color. Pretty much looks like a macro. The smell is potent, but a cheap grassy smell as well. The taste is not too characteristic. Tastes like a non-offending lager. Crisp and smooth going down. Very surprised of the 8.5 alcohol. Basically, its a middle of the road lager with a high alcohol content. Uninteresting and undistinguishable.

Clear golden color with a thin white head. Aroma of sweet malt and a hint of grass. Flavor of grass and light hops with some sweet malt in the end.

This Pils isn’t very Imperial. Pours clear golden with a light orange hue. Thin off-white head and scarce lacing. The aroma is somewhat hoppy with a bit of citrus and traces of skunk. Medium body and well-hidden alcohol. Not too hoppy, and it has some malt and fruit flavors. All in all it is a slightly ratcheted up Pils that doesn’t really blow the doors off the style. Still, it is pretty interesting and drinkable.

Crystal clear golden coloured body with orange highlights and a thin white head. Aroma of strong citrus hops with some light fruit sugars, alcohol and some malt. Medium to Full-bodied; Potent hoppiness and a decent sweetness with honey notes and a malt backbone. Aftertaste clean-some hoppiness showing, but not a lengthy bitterness. Overall, a good imperial pilsner; Definitely one to try! Thank you to Phil (haddon90) for giving me this bottle. I was out of town (at college) when it came out, but he saved me one of them just to try! I sampled this 12 ounce bottle (dated 09-March-2004) on 31-July-2004 (almost 5 months old) on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.
