Sample from a can at Old Mill Stream in St. Charles, MO. The beer is a clear golden color with a medium white head that fizzes away steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Grainy malt and light hops in the nose. Light body with flavors of biscuity malt, mild hops and a bit of spice. The finish is clean and leaves a light grassy hops aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Can from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours light gold with a foamy white head. Grassy citrus aroma. Near med body; light carbonation. Flavor is slightly sweet, yes kind of honey hint, and very mildly hoppy. Tain’t bad, better than Bud, but she don’t challenge the palate much.

The aroma is grainy and slightly nutty with a hint of caramel and faint floral and grassy hops. The taste is grainy, nuts, corn and grassy hops. Medium bodied. Decent. Hooray for finally rating a Kansas beer!

12 oz bottle from theisti. Nose of grain, yeast, floral hops and a nice bit of bubblegum ester.Hazy yellow with a medium pale yellowish head. Flavor is yeasty and moderately bitter with a small bitter finish.

Small but strong head forms from the pour. Color is a clear golden/straw, some carbonation bubbles travel the body. Aroma is full on pilsner with thick straw-malt character. Flavor is similar, some white bread malt sweetness at the end. A surprisingly fuller body for this kind of a brew. Very low on the hops. Nothing special, nothing flawed, I could keep drinking this all day if need be.

12 oz bottle purchased as part of a mix a six at Lukas in Overland Park, Kansas. Pour is pale golden with a lot of active carbonation bubbles building up a one inch pure white head. Thick carbonation bubbles continue to rise to the surface well after the beer is poured. Aroma is wet earthy hay and light toasted malt. Also, a slight crisp grass hoppiness. Fresh nose, though a bit muted. Taste is ever so slightly sweet toasted malt, along with the grassy earthy hops in the finish. The sweetness is dry honey, apple fruit and floral. The finish is slightly bitter and dry. The aftertaste reveals some wet cardboard and some tin, but not quite enough to detract. Palate is thin to medium, active carbonation. As mentioned a crisp and drying finish. Drinkable beer.
