Courtesy of & thanks to tderoeck. 33 cl. green bottle sampled @ “Procrastinated Spontaneity /…………/ 2 Boekjes” tasting @ Gent. Pours a very pale golden with little in the way of head. Nose is pure skunk, light sweet sugar and watered down skunky lemonade. Tastes very watery with lots of skunk, some bitter hay in the back, newspaper and watery finish. Lower carb. watery fare. Yeah…. Ecuador is not the place to be beer-wise.

24/V/14 - 33cl bottle @ Procrastinated Spontan Gent Tasting - BB: 15/7/14 (2014-528) Thanks to marijaguar for the bottle!

Clear pale yellow beer, small irregular head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of grains, malty, hay, some cow fodder, urine, bit fruity, skunky. MF: ok carbon, light body. Taste: bit sourish, grains, pretty bitter. Aftertaste: grains, bit metallic, grassy hops. Ecuador: tick! ;-)

Bottled 330cm3. -Yellow/golden coloured, small white head, mild corn in the nose. Malty and mild hoppy with evident maize presence. Short and quite tasteless bitterish finish. Weak as I’ve expected but new country is new country.

Bottle from Genoa. Wee, Ecuador. Poured a pale golden body with a small thick white head. Dry notes of rice in the nose. Watery taste, dry rice, some sweet fruity notes (corn?). As unimpressive as expected.

11/10 0.33 l bottle from a street merchant in Genova, to become my first Ecuador beer. It poured pale yellow body with medium sized head. Dusty and hay in its aroma. Cheap industrial flavor, not bad but just boring. Sweetish honey malts and maybe touch of herbal hops here. Thin bodied with shorter finish. Strange for us Europeans, but both SA beers I had today have such spirit. Drinkable, but that’s it.

Canned (in Colombia, under licence). Golden colour with mediumsized white bubbly head, which vanishes quite quickly. Aroma is malts and hops with some hints of maize. Flavour is pretty much the same. Atleast it has some bittering notes in it, but really not that good...
