Bottle 330ml. [ As Dead Mans Hand (Wine BA) ].Clear dark black color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, wine - red wine, moderate roasted, moderate chocolate, wood, dark fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light acidic with a long duration, tart, red wine, roasted, wood, warm alcohol. IMO not very balanced. Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of kajser27, shared with him, Marko and franski. Almost black coloured, medium sized brown head, whiff of wine in the nose. Roasted malt, caramel, some chocolate and distinct wine notes (which I don’t like much). Some roastiness in the finish. Somehow likable somehow not.

Thanks kajser! Almost pitch black, just slightly tinged with amber, creamy off white head. Hmm... the aroma isn’t immediately appealing, there are admittedly red wine notes, interesting, but with dull dogfood maltiness underneath. Caramel, dry. Just slightly stale in a way, otherwise OK. Taste... remarkably light, red wine, fruity grapey notes are evident, not much underneath, but actually quite pleasant. Superbly hidden alcohol. Good maltiness but mostly near the finish, caramelly. Fruity finish, dry. Interesting. A tasty beer, but a completely atypical Imperial stout. Ended up being slightly on the sour side. Ooof dunno what to think about this.
