Bottled. Hazy orange colour with a small white head. Aroma is peated and some slight tartish wooden tones. Flavour is peated, some citrus, mild smoked wet wood and some meaty tones. Very smoked as for the finish.

Bottle at tasting. Aroma of peated bandaid and yeast. Taste has some sour/sweet yeast at first, but than the weird herbal peatness comes in, has some weird smokey red fruit as well. A mess really, but I like peat so it gets some points for that.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Thompson and Niilstrong. Clear orange color, huge soapy a bit rough fluffy off-white head that lasts for a long time. Smell and taste are a bit sour, a hint of wood, fruitpeel sourness. Initially the aroma did have some peat and smoke but i didn’t get that anymore after a while. Medium dry finish, average body and medium carbonation.

Stark rauchiger Antrunk, sehr peated. Starke Karbonisierung, minimal röstig, wenig herb. Die Rauchigkeit nimmt ab, daher zum Ende weniger interessant. 9/9/8/8//9

Thanks. Sampled @ ZBF 2014. Hazy blond, creamy white head. Smells of sweet peated earth with some malt, sweet bread, creamy. Tastes of little else than basic sweet peat, sugar, bread and malt. m/m body. Not a big enthusiast of beers that have little more than peat going on as far as flavour is concerned.

26/IV/14 - 75cl bottle @ ZBF 2014 (Leuven) - BB: n/a (2014-426) Thanks to the Belgian Ratebeer crew for sharing today's beers!
Note: when I asked if the beer was aged on oak barrels, they answered me no. When I asked what the "oaked" then meant, they responded with "brewer's secret". Dafuq is that supposed to mean? Clear amber beer, creamy rocky off-white to light beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots and lots of peat, bit chemical, bit sweet, caramel, smoky. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: bit chemical bitterness, pretty sour, sour apples, smoky, very peated. Aftertaste: bitter, dry, very peated, sourish, lemony, watery ending though.

Pours clear dark amber . Rather small white head . Smell is a bit peated . Taste is medicinal peated . Not my thing in any perspective . Yet doable .
