750ml bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear nut brown with a bringt ruby hue. Aroma is tart and funky. Taste is light sweet and light tart. Super funky. Ok, this may be one of the better two brothers brews that ive had. Very enjoyable.

Bomber. Deep brown body with ruby highlights. Fizzy, off-white head. Aroma of char, barnyard, brett, roasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Light acidity. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Lightly tart finish. Taste of roasted grain and lacquer. Odd flavor — the roast and bitter hops are at odds with the funk.

This was a funky beer. It was certainly a unique beer but the flavors simply didn’t do a lot for me. It’s just a preference thing. I had thisbeer on tap at Blind Tiger. It poured a deep, dark brown and had a thick consistency nearing the syrup realm. Flavor was sour, or tart, and smacked of cherries and malt. The sourness really took me by surprise. A truly interesting taste. I would like to try this beer again to see how I respond a second time.

22 oz. bomber. A handsome beer, I’ll give it that. Deep brown/black body admits just a bit of TV screen at the narrow part of my glass. Only a thin remainder of foam. Spicy smell leads to a light brett taste—what is it with 2Bros and sour beers, did the brewhouse get compromised?— First impression is tart cherry, then bit of oak, prune, and cola. Fruity saison notes still suggest a warm farmhouse ferment. Turns a bit winy after the first sips. Black beer background with some roast malts. Alcohol slowly builds up a buzz until its soured Guinness type finish. An odd and diverting brew.

Thanks notalush for sharing. Aroma is strong on oak leafiness with light vinegar. It’s definitely funky, just a different kind of funk. Taste is a bit empty with [yes I am saying it] dill [screw you Joe] and watery chocolate roast. It’s a light beer with no real sourness in the flavor.

Thanks to my better half for scoring this while in Wisconsin - dark, reddish brown beer - semi-tart, acidic aroma, with some damp wood notes - fairly acidic, with slight roasted malt - a bit thin - some chalkiness - a touch of chocolate and cherries - again, some damp woodiness - medium sour - it tastes less like an intentionally sour beer, and more like a porter or stout that got infected - still an okay experience, though.

bottle - Pours very dark brown with almost no head. The aroma is yeast and dark fruit with a little farmhouse funk. The flavor has some caramel malt, dark fruit, tartness, and funk. It’s a bit on the watery side and needs a more assertive flavor, IMO. Not bad, but could definitely be better.

Pour is a dark black but a little light shines through. Aroma is nice. Starts out very yeasty, spicy and pepper like a saison but it also has some dark chocolate malts that show up. Flavor is lots of tart fruit with some roasted malts. Points for trying something new but nothing really puts this over the top.
