Clear blond colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a lot of wood. Really dry. Quite floral too. Soft mild whisky notes. Malt sweetness.

Whisky-barrel aged organic beer in expensive luxury bottles, with firm, rocky, off-white, stable head and murky ochre blond colour. Aroma of pear, single malt, banana, bread, yeast, honey, red apples, white candi sugar, caramel. Sweetish fruity accents in the onset (banana, white grape, pear), soft and rounded palate, yeasty with vague cinnamon accent, mild herbal hop bitterishness in the finish and indeed a faint, warming whisky touch and an equally faint aftertaste of whisky malts - but that’s probably autosuggestion, since I basically agree with the other comments here that there is very, very little whisky presence in this. The spectacular bottle adds to the experience too; still, this was one of the best organic beers I had so far.

75cl bottle courtesy of Kraddel @ Post Toer de Geuze tasting.

75 cl. Armand 4 style bottle sampled courtesy of Kraddel. Hazy sun golden, little white head. Cleaning bitter agents in the nose, very strong spices, organic, alternative malts, bitter, lightly floral. Lactic taste, spices, flowers, milky, near butter, bitter spices, banana, bitter in the end with some EU hops, warming booze in the back, some grains,… Carb. is pretty high. Price is way too high but this is interesting and agreeable. Whisky comes through maybe in the added alcohol?

Slightly irregular, fine-bubbled medium head over fully hazy orange-yellow beer. Dough and garden weeds, fresh malts and some herbal EU hops. Not very distinctive. Sweetish, malty flavour with a drier finish, which is warming - the alcohol showing and reinforcing the sweetness. Fain incense flavour; warming up turns liquorice-like. Some alcoholwarming, quite oily-slick; well-carbonated feel. Quite refined, but not realy exhilarating. Has some alcoholcharacter, but I don’t find any real whiskycharacteristics.
