Stronger version of the first Brughopper, with stable, off-white head and cloudy golden blonde colour, bit darker than the regular Brughopper. Aroma of apricot, coriander, peach, grains, but also some DMS (cooked cabbage). Fruity taste, honeyish touch, sweetish with a sourish accent, grainy, leafy hop bitterness in the finish. Not enough refined yet like their other one, but promising.

Thanks. Sampled @ ZBF 2014. Appears to have nothing in common with the regular version, even the colour is different, this one is way, way better. Hazy orange with little white head. Nose is lovely pineapple punch, very fruity, fructose, apricot. Taste sadly doesn’t really live up to the promise, bit too soapy, BE yeast, still getting some of that pineapple punch, apricot and fructose but it is way too mellow, still enjoyable stuff, also picking up on sweet white bread. Medium body.

26/IV/14 - bottle or tap? @ ZBF 2014 (Leuven) - BB: n/a (2014-414) Thanks to the Belgian Ratebeer crew for sharing today's beers!

Little hazy orange beer, small to no head. Aroma: very sweet and sugary, quite some banana, bubble gum, fruity, exotic fruits. MF: way too much carbon to be enjoyable, even after swivelling the beer around in the glass for quite some time. Medium body. Taste: fruity start, sweet, sguary, sweet pineapple, some citrus, bitter hops, bit sourish. Aftertaste: very fruity, sweet peaches, apricots, little bitter, sweet notes.
