Slightly unclear cherry red colour, small frothy off-white head, recedes quickly, thin layer remains, a bit lacing. Aroma sweet, black currant, fruit syrup/lemonade, bubblegum. Taste very sweet with light sour undertones; light body, watery texture, sweet black currant finish with light bitterness, acceptable fruitbeer.

25 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from Willems. BBF 05/2014. Looks a bit like redcurrant juice, touch purple, ruby, little in the way of head. Smell is intense mashed blueberries, reminds me of mainstream blueberry yoghurt, some artificial sweeteners as well & a horrible vile smell mixed in, like sewage water, uh that is bad… Taste is sweet blueberry & blackcurrant juice mixed with a lot of sweeteners & artificial blueberry & blackcurrant flavours, totally fake, slight uneatable berries, finish is watery with some nasty artificial sweeteners & something slight spoiled and metallic mixed in but luckily since it is watery, it is not too bad. Watery, watered down juice body. Could be worse, I hoped for better. The off-flavours too nasty in this one.

Bottle @ home. Pink head on top of a dark red colored beer. Smell some kind of berries, but no idea which. Probably ’bosbessen’ (blueberry in English??). The smell reminds me of some kind of candy I used to like as a kid and also it smells like cassis. Taste sweetness and fruits with a slightly different finish. Low carbo, low body.
