Bottled. A dark red beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of fruit and prunes, as well as a touch of smoke. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, fruit, smoke, and a bit of wood, leading to a dry finish. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Bottle, 7%. Yeasty aroma. Cloudy very dark brown colour. Small unstable light brown head. The flavour is smokey, tastes a bit like nicotine because of a bit of sourness. Not bad at all, though. Good sweetness.

Bottle @ Arendsnest Amsterdam. Dark brown color. Peach and a hint of smoked ham in the aroma. Rauch flavor, malty yet dry. Hints of apple, peach and citrus noticeable. Low on smoke, relatively rich on fruit.

33cl Bottle at ’t Arendsnest. Dark reddish brown colour, light beige head. Aroma of campfire smoke, light salty, light roasted malts and some fruitiness. Smoke disappears after a while. Flavour is light sour dark fruits, light roasted malts, a hint of ash and smoke and a light salty, light bitter-sour finish. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied. A lot better than their regular porter.

Gushing to disappearing yellow-cream head over opaque dark brown beer. Sourish, bready and especially smoked nose, with smoked ham, some green spices. Smoked, bit ashy & phenolic flavours, with a salty finish; impression of fusels, but the smoked malts hide a lot... Also some roasted malts. Well bodied, alcoholwarmin;g, pretty slick, even a bit melted butter feel in the mouth. It would undoubtedly score better if the fermentation were a bit under control. It is not, which seems characteristic for Klein Duimpje. Many thanks to DeanS!
