A sneakily complex beer, "TWSS" exhibits flavors of milk chocolate, fresh roasted coffee, caramel, and even a hint of smoke. It is absolutely loaded with flavor for a 5.6% beer, and the inclusion of Lactose takes the edge off of the dry, roasty notes found in a typical stout. The adult chocolate milk shake. . . soft, creamy, and luscious while maintaining supreme drinkability - just the way we like it! A beer that is notorious for converting ‘pale’ beer lovers to the dark side!

Dark pour witha thin tan head. Notes of roasted malt, cocoa, and that's about it. Underwhelming.

5/IX/17 - 1Pt. can, shared @ home - BB: n/a, canned: VI/22/17 (2017-1471) Thanks to Amy for the can!
Clear dark brown to black beer, big solid creamy beige had, very stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots and lots of coffee, very roasted, charcoal. MF: lively carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very roasted, bitter, bit funky, ashes and charcoal, tobacco leaves. Aftertaste: slightly fruity, hoppy, roasted, bit sweet, some caramel, coffee, chocolate touch. Decent, but I guess I'll never be a sucker for coffee beers.

Pours a dark, brownish-black, with mid-sized, tawny head that dissipates rather quickly. Aroma has a strong coffee element to it, along with some chocolate and roasted grain. Flavor is marked by coffee, chocolate, some licorice, dark fruit. Very smooth, sweet mouthfeel and finish. Another winner from Tree House.

Opaque brown-black body. Sweet, kind of too sweet. Brown sugary, doughy chocolate. Pretty good, a little chewy and sweet, but that isn’t a bad thing for the style I suppose.

Can sample at a tasting at Alexey & Raphaela’s place. Thanks Alexey & Raphaela. Black with a tan head. Aroma of roast, milk chocolate, coffee. Sweet flavor with roast, milk chocolate, some coffee, and a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied. A bit too sweet, but nice.

500mL can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lactose upfront, followed by a touch of vanilla and cocoa. Flavour brings out lactose and peanut butter in great harmony. Smooth and luxurious on the palate. Really good stuff.
