Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell, London. Thanks to Kenneth. Pours deep black with a staunch, brown cream cap. Sharp dark malt nose, iodine, chocolate syrup. Medium sweet flavor, burnt leaves, some soy sauce, dark cocoa, tangy dark fruits, raisins. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, tangy dark malts, grapes, raisins. Not bad. Some burnt wood. Decent overall.

Bottle thanks to fata2683: Poured a thick black with brown edges, head is thin and milk chocolate looking. Aroma is thick roasted malts. Taste is rich roasted malts, a light smoke and some bitter chocolate finish.

Bottle from a trade with cbkschubert. Pours black with brown head. Roasted malt and chocolate aromas. Bittersweet milk chocolate and vanilla flavor with dark roasted malts and some espresso. Full body with minimal carbonation and thick and slick mouthfeel. Really nice beer if you like your impy stouts on the sweeter side. Thanks Craig.

Silver and black label, as Sonoran Imperial Stout I#ebr@tor
Jet black colour, firm tan head. Aroma of liquorice, light sour touch, smoke, roasted malts, milk chocolate, quite sweet. Flavour of bitter roasted malts, coffee bitter, quite sweet. Sticky sweet body. Finish bitter roasted malts, dark and milk chocolate, sweetness lingers for a long time.
Very nice, but for me the sticky sweetness of the finish is a bit too much.
(From 65 cL bottle shared @ ZZT IV. Gift from 3frog. Thanks!)

Thx to nbutler11 (Nick) for sharing this one // 2011 Limited Edition bomber (66 cl. ?) // “Día de los Muertos” themed label // bottle doesn’t actually say Inebriator because of Arizonian law / where he got this – nice little bit of info that I got from Nick // pours black with a small but lovely mocha head // the smell instantly reminds me of chocolate / coffee ice-cream, seems like the possibility that they put Mexican sugar into this is quite high, vanilla, creamy malts, touch sweeter roast, coffee, cream, small touch molasses // smooth, creamy, coffee, vanilla, lightly roasted malts, hint of fruitiness, full mellow chocolate,, brown sugar, inkling of molasses, toffee, smooth, slick, creamy on the touch sweeter side, love impy stouts like this // very desert-like (room temp.)

Limited Edition 2011 Imperial Stout 22oz bomber version with special new gothic look pours an amazing deep darkness with tight half inch mocha head. The aroma bruises the senses with toasted bread, sugary toffee and dark roasted maltiness leading into a bit of butter covered burnt maltiness. The taste is rich and bold with big toffee notes, dark roasted maltiness, burnt malts and chocolate. It then picks up lesser amounts of dark toasted bread and dark roasted coffee. This is rich and bold where toffee candy notes take on a buttery sense now and then. Nice stuff but a bit on the buttery side. I look forward to trying future batches of this.

Bomber thanks to Dave, listed as Limited Edition 2011 Imperial Stout. Pours a very nice jet black color with a thick brown head. Unfortunately, it’s downhill from there: a huge buttery aroma- literally like popcorn. A similar diacetal flavor with smaller chalky and roast, some coffee, sourness. Very hard to drink too much of. I have a 2nd bottle, maybe it will be better.
