Golden straw color with a full bouquet of wild aromas; including barnyard, earthy, tropical fruit and horsey undertones. The mild backbone collaborates with the soft velvety sour notes and creamy layers of intertwining honey textures to create an extremely enjoyable experience. The balance between the sour notes and the residual, leaves a smooth texture of creamy citrus tartness as the finish.

Bottle/Fest. A- Light, funky, hay, mild citrus. A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Funky, straw, mild acidity, lemon. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, funky finish. O- Nice balance. I'm not sure I would say it really fits the style but it's definitely drinkable. I liked this one more than I thought I might, although I do struggle to pick up specific flavors.

500mL capped bottle. They have a special yeast for this beer but I think they are going for an Imperial Gueze. Big head, sticky head. Alcohol felt, sweet for style. But funky and wild. A little woody bark with thick maltiness covers it. Interesting idea. Tart finish with acidity trying to break out.

Draft pour at Uber Tavern, Seattle. From notes. Hazy golden pour with a quick fading head. A sweet fruit, very cool. Sweet over tart for sure. White grape and slight cherry. Fruity, and quite juicy throughout, and lingering. Sour kicks in late. Fun, tasty, unique brew.

Draft @ Uber. Bretty-hoppy nose. Raspberry notes on the palate, soft tart, beautiful...has a nice balance. Would like to revisit this at some point.

On tap st Uber Tavern, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of tart stone fruits and lover wild yeast. Flavour is complex, with lovely stone fruits, especially apricots, followed by wild yeast and more apricots. Complex and wonderfully blended. Excellent.

At the aource: pours golden with a white head. Aroma is musky, dirty and funky. Taste is surprisingly light. Kind of dirty in an interesting and funky way. Tart and berry finish. Weird and nice.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a cloudy golden color with an enormous fluffy yellow-white head that lingered forever and left good lacing. The aroma was sourish, musty, funky and had an egg white note. The flavor was tart with vinegar, funk, must and egg white. Long finish. Medium body. Meh.

Lovely beer, good and acceptably sour and you could never even know it was a 9er, comes across more like a fiver. Yes, nice job, good way to prove a high alky beer does not have to be intimidating, heheheh. NICE JOB DRY LOG!

Bomber thanks to Dan. Come on guys, I can’t even read the name! Draai Laag is just trying too hard. Anyway, pours a cloudy orange color with a large white head. A huge funky woody nose, apricots, lemon. Solid. Light funk, lemons, oranges, straw, very soft peppery base, fluffy palate, more citrus, honey. Very good. Lovely beer.
