33 cl. bottle sampled @ GBF 2013. Murky fox amber with little head. Nose is sweet malt, herbs, light flowers, bitter spices, light caramel,… Overly carbonated stuff, sweetish malt, light very dark bread, touch caramel, bitter herbs, spices, light fruits,… The way too high carb. ruins it slightly. Bit too mediocre. Thx! to the RB Crew for sharing. Don’t drink literature?

Collapsing cream-coloured head; faintly veiled foxy orange-amber beer. Fresh malts, flowery hops, rosewater. Roasted notes, malts, and a bit spicy. Feels rather carbonated; medium bodied. Not half bad.

9/IV/13 - 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: I/2014 (2013-316)

Little cloudy orange beer, irregular off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet malts, grains, orange peel, bit dusty, a chemical (rubbery?) touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: orange peel, bitter, bit zesty, bitter hops, sweet malts, honey. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, more orange peel, honey, bit sweet, dry, spicy touch. Very Belgian, very decent. Good job Yannick!
