Bottled@Gastropub Tuulensuu, Tampere (As DijkWaert McThals). Orangeish amber colour with a small off-white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet malts, some leather, peat and mild toffeeish tones with some spiciness. Flavour is peated, some smoked wet wooden tones with some herbal and mild leathery notes with some caramel and mild earthy tones.

Bottle. Golden color. Smoke, peat and ham in the aroma. Fat malty peaty flavor. Alcoholic. The peat and smoke are nice, but the balance is lacking.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Plus, Culemborg. Hazy golden with a white head. Malty aroma with some peat. Medium bitter. Normally I’m not that fond of beers with whisky malts but this one works really well. Not too peated but certainly noticeable. Nice atypical beer.

Sample from 75 cl. bottle - gusher. Hazy, amber-golden colour with a huge, white head. Fruity aroma with spices, fruits, peat and yeasts. Rather messy. Taste is sweet. Medium body, creamy texture and a lively carbonation. Finishes dry with smoke, peat and spices. Unusual Belgian...

Bottle - Pours a fuzzy gold colour with a out of control bubbling head. Sweets yeasts, sweet fruit, some wood, grassy notes, but carbonation was off the scale, and far to fizzy for me.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a cloudy golden with a very lively and lacing white head - comes a slow gusher. Very peaty nose. Medium body, fruity and yeasty again with this heavy peaty note. The carbonation is really annoying. 130913
