8-3-7-4-14 Bottle, #704, vintage 2015. Shared with Inbreak and friends. Pours cloudy maroon, with a big creamy head. Aroma is lactic notes with cherries, fruit peel and minerals, as well as farmhouse and wooden notes. Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is tart fruity notes of cherries, fruit peel and farmhouse notes, as well as fruit pits, farmhouse and wooden minerals.

Bottle. Pours hazy dark orangey brown with a small white head. Aromas of cherries, malt, vinegar, balsamico, oak. Taste is tart up front, cherries, malty dusty notes, light vinegar, balsamico, oaky finish.

Bottle shared at Chris & Ruth’s pre GBBF Shindig 06/08/2017. Many thanks! A reddy / orange / amber coloured pour with a thin off white head. Aromais funky horsey char, cherry and raspberry fruits, farts. Flavour is composed of tart woody tannin, tangy tart fruit, cherry and rapsberry, woody fruit pips. Nice complexity. Palate is hishish prickly carbonation, tart, pinch of acid. Drying finish.

Bottle @ Scheffels Otha fish in the sea Tasting. Pours Hazy deep red with a white head. Popsickle, Sweet, Wood, slight vinegar. Vanilla. Tart fruity finish.

Bottle split at Chris & Ruth’s pre GBBF Shindig, 07/08/16. Reddish amber with a decent light beige cap. Nose is funky, musty cherry skins, oak, soured grapes, light spice. Taste comprises tangy red berries, tarte cherry, damp hay, wooded notes, spice, light acidic bite, fruit balsams. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a modest puckering effect. Decent well rounded sour.

Bottle at RBESG 2016 Grand Tasting Part 2, Brew Pub Le Sec. Near clear amber with an off white head. Aroma of tart fruits, cherry, oak, light funk, light caramel. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. [10-07-2016]
