Bottle shared at the June DCBeer share. Poured a light copper color. Flavor was smooth and tart with cherry, caramel, wood, and funky malt. This one holds up given it's 13 or so years old.

Bottle. Pours hazy burnt umber, small beige head, dissipates fairly quickly, some lacing. Aroma is woody, vinous, cherries, oak, whiskey, funky, horse blanket. Flavor is medium tart, lightly funky fairly acidic actually, woody and vinous, some dark sugar notes, dried fruits, cherries. Medium body, a bit creamy in the mouth. Fairly complex and solid.

2012 vintage. Slightly dirty amber color, no head. Aroma is sharp vinager and sour oak. Well let me say that I really hate this style as a whole I don’t know why people enjoy drinking vinager and dirty butthole but I guess if that is your thing...... Enjoy. Thankfully this is mild on the vinager with a lightly oaky finish. I’m sure this is good for the style bit its not something I would ever reach for, especially for the price. Thanks for sharing Brian... I guess?

2009 vintage bottle from the brewery. Pours a blood orange color with a short patch head. Really light aroma with slightly sour cherry. Slightly tart flavor with a really woody, slightly dry finish. Good stuff.
