Bottle. Dark brown color. Caramel and tobacco in the aroma. Malty roasty flavor, not too sweet. Hint of caramel. Not too bad.

Bottle. Pours a brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with weak yeasty hints. Fruity malty spicy caramel finish. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty caramel finish.

Dark burgundy brown colour. Sweet aroma of dried fruits, dates. Sweet fruity and malty flavour, malt loaf. Quite a rich feel with a sticky, sweet finish.

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, nr Gent, Belgium April 2012 consumed at home 20.05.12 Reddy brown colour with large off white head, looks quite attractive, looks great. Medium sweetness with some cane sugar in mouth, in fact probably a bit sweeter than that, there is also a strange slightly numbing sensation on the tongue a bit like you get with toothpaste sometimes. Overall I am not hugely impressed with this sweet brown Belgian beer. A5 A5 T5 P2 Ov10 2.7

33 cl. bottle shared / thx to tderoeck – bordeaux red / brown with a tanned head, smell, caramel, sweet candy, grape jelly, brown sugar, taste is bitter metallic caramel, cob webs, dust, fake artificial bitter hop finish, brown sugar, cardboard, overripe, synthetic, messy, this is not fun

33cl bottle. Thanks Tderoeck for the share. Cuivrée, col crémeux beige. Arôme malté, fruit noir léger, caramel sur ce bouquet très belge. En bouche, fruité noir, caramel, malt pâle munich, grains donnant un léger côté de toffee. Palais savonneux avec une pointe d’amertume houblonnée en fin de bouche.

Clear red brown beer, big creamy beige head, pretty adhesive, bit stable. Aroma: malts, caramel, brown sugar. MF: way too much carbon, light to medium body. Taste: WTF is this? Some caramel, sour berries, dirty bitterness, rotten fruits, chemical flavours. Aftertaste: bitter, some caramel, sourness, really nasty. Please remove the word "quality" from the claim "Belgian quality beer". Actually, remove the word "beer" and "Belgian" as well please, this is disgrace for our country!

Bottle 330ml.Clear medium to dark brown amber colour with a average to large, creamy - frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, malt extract, caramelized caramel - brown sugar, burnt brown sugar. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sugary, alcohol, caramel, caramelized. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120317]

Bottle @ FOneFan. Dark amber/brown wit medium beige head. Aroma is malt, fruit, nutty, chocolate and caramel. Flavour is malt, medium sweet, caramel, fruit, light nutty with notes of alcohol.
