50cl bottle, batch #200. Poured brown/cola color with a thin head. Aroma ois vinegar and sour fruit. Flavor is sour fruit, wheat, wood and vinegar notes. Finish is dry, I could also detect some chocolate in the long finish. No alcohol detected at all. Very enjoyable sour ale.

Dark brown beer with a medium and beige head. Aroma is sour, some vinegar, fruits, at least cherries, slightly metallic when cold. Nice, slightly sticky to drink with nice carbonation. Taste is strongly sour, berries, some horse stable. Quite nice Sour Ale, but more freshness and fruitness needed what can be found from the better Sour Ales.

Bottlled. Deep reddish amber colour with a small off-white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is sour wood with some tart berries and mild sweetish malts. Flavour is quite similar with the tart berries coming through most evident. The higher ABV helps out balancing up some of the sourness and tartness.

Bottled 500ml (ABV 7.5%, Alko Arkadia, brygget 201208, batch #200)
Dark ruby color, small off-white head, some lace. Sour, kind of fruity and malty nose with hints of oak. Medium to full bodied. Sour, astringent, actually quite sweet, berryish, oak and cognac in the flavor. This is similar to some Alvinne brews. Ok wild ale.

Deep reddihs brown cloudy beer. Acidic nose. This beer was aged in sherry barrels and rhubarb wine barrels! Dry crisp palate. Very sour beer! Sour generic fruit leading to a little woody oak, then more strong sourness with a fruity herbal edge. Medicinal and dry wood finish. Highly unusual beer, tasty and refreshing but absoloutely could not drink more than a single bottle.

0.5l bottle (batch 159) from Valken, Bergen. After popping the cap this one immediately fizzed over and was located all over my table. Waay to much carbonation in the bottle I guess. Anyways, it pours a really nasty brown, almost dirty water-like body with a solid, beige head. Aromas of vinegar, oak and a nice malty flavor. Really sour and lots of vinegar with a strong citrus sting. Oaky and sour. Think I served it a bit to cold, cause I at first it was waay to sour, but when it got some temperature it got more balanced. Some dark berries and a little oxidation. Must admit that this was no favorite, but it was definitely interesting!
