Its perfect balance between acidity and sugar makes it an aperitif par excellence. There are so many similarities, you could easily take this cider to be one the great French pearly classics. Its taste evolves and progresses in stages thanks to its discreet and mollifying sparkle, towards an end product stripped of sugar but refined to a point that’s a little more acidic.

Clear pale golden colour, no head. Aroma of apples. Light sweet flavour. Finish apples.
Not very distinguishable. Not brilliant, but not horrible either.

On tap at the Wharf. A clear, yellow to pale golden cider with a layer of small, white bubbles. Lightly alcoholic on the nose, with ripe yellow apples and a grassy touch. The alcohol is present in the mouth too, but not dominating in any way. Mostly apples of course, some cores too. Dry, medium bodied mouthfeel. Apples in the end. A refreshing and quenching cider where the alcohol is a bit too evident, especially in the aroma. 111106

tap@an Irish pub: sweet, slightly artificial apple cider, never the less very enjoyable & thirst quenching, a nice choice given the otherwise rather generic choices

Draught: Poured a clear golden yellow with a bubbly white carbonated head. The aroma is soft light apple. The taste was a nice tangy apple cider with a dry finish.
