(330ml bottle, ~ 2mo, from Systembolaget) Pours clear dark amber with a dense off white head. Aroma sweet caramel, some orange and grapefruit peel, but with some pine and soapy floral notes too, overall impression quite sweet. On the palate, caramel and lightly bready core, sweet orange, grapefruit peel, vaguely tropical fruity, pine/floral character from middle on. Finish is moderately bitter with citrus zest, pine resin, a little wet vegetation, malt sweetness persists to offset. Medium oily body, average carbonation, no alcohol heat. Not a bad DIPA but sweet and not aggressively hoppy. Easy to drink.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear amber with a dense, off-white head. Heavy citrusy hops paired with caramel. Rich, fat caramellish body, heavy on the perfumy hops. Not overly bitter. A DIPA on the sweet side, but I like it. 270315

330 ml bottle from Systembolaget Passagen, Stockholm.
Dark amber, hazy body, with a big, creamy, slightly beige head, that laces a lot.
Quite light aroma of grapefruit, pine, tropical fruits.
Tastes of grapefruit, pine, resin, sweet berries, peach, some tropical fruits, tea, biscuit.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes bitter, citric, zesty, resinous, subtly sweet malty.

Very good! While the nose is a bit disappointing, the taste is really enjoyable, with various impressions, of bitter resinous hops, lots of fruits and different malt notes. Overall a really nice, quaffable IPA, but still by far not the best I’ve had from Sweden.

33 cl. bottle from Systembolaget, Hammarby Sjöstad. Hazy, amber colour with a creamy, lightly tanned head. Fruity aroma with citrus, grass, grape, pines and caramel malts. Taste is bitter. Full body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. A good palate. Long lasting dry and bitter finish with citrus fruits, resins, caramel malts and sweet, exotic fruits. Very enjoyable DIPA.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Mastikim. Thanks zvsn. Hazy deep gold. Aroma of stale hops, a bit fruity. Sweetish malty flavor with caramel, stale hops and some bitterness. Medium-bodied.

(Bottle) Hazy amber colour with lasting, frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit, passion-fruit, lychee, dried apricots and floral, slightly resiny hops. Malty, hoppy taste with citrus, grapefruit, passion-fruit, caramel, apricots and a generous citric, resiny bitterness. More than medium body, with a slight caramel sweetness. Generous hop character, backed up by solid malt foundation. Excellent double IPA. Very nice.

Nice clear amber, thin foam. Fruity and hoppy aroma, attractive. Taste has all these hops that nose was warning about - but they feel nicely balanced with the body and are not overwhelming at all. Fruity and surprisingly light for a double IPA of this strength. Good beer, great job with balancing - but maybe not too exciting.

Deep white head. Very malty nose fairly leafy. The mouth is malty fairly boring, but not bad.

Backlog. Pours clear copper reddish, one finger white-yellowish fluffy foam that dissipates quite fast leaving no lacings. Aroma is fruity, both sweetly tropical with pine, mango and apples, citrus and zest. Taste is nicely malt accented with lots of tropical fruits and a slight, but not overly aggressive, resinous tone. Medium bitter. Medium body, soft carbo. Solid.
