Can you imagine something more repulsive than the smell of cats piss? Not really - go on, open up and inhale the sharp nose of cats piss extracted from the heavenly dry hopped Nelson Sauvin. The good news is you’ll love the freshness and the light body. It’s a true quality guzzler IPA.

(Draught at Pikkulintu) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, hops and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were hops, fruitiness, some acridness, malts, white bread and bitterness. Aftertaste was bitter. Again, as with many hoppier IPAs, the lack of balance was what disturbed me.

Bottle, 6.5%. Caramelly aroma, hint of watermelon. Cloudy copper colour. Big stable off-white head. The flavour is rather sweet to begin with, good hoppiness and clean bitterness. Also some watermelon or other melon note in the flavour. Well-balanced.

Bottle @ Unibar, Århus. Pours dark golden with a huge white head. Aroma of fresh hops with grapefruit, pineapple, lemon. Taste is floral and herbal hops, not as bitter as aroma would have suggested, balanced with a good malt base. Medium body, soft carbonation. Overall a nice and refreshing IPA. 220111

Hazy amber with a lasting off-white head. Great hop aroma of pine, peach, orange peel, herbs and nettle, with a yeasty note. Sweet fruity hop flavour, pine hop notes and a bitter and lingering hop finish

Bottle @ HJ Hansen, Odense. Pours a murky unclear brown with an amazing creamy white head and lacings. Nose is fresh hops. Pine and blueberry, cats piss . Flavor is bitter and hoppy, exotic fruity hops with some caramel underneath. Dry end. Very nice.
