Tap at Open Baladin, Roma, 10/02/13. Lightly hazed pale golden with a decent white head. Nose is pale malts, grass, citrus, orange pith, sugars. Taste comprises orange, lemon, citrus, sugars, grass, sweet caramel, toffee. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, light bitter tones in a sweetish finish. Ok - drinkable stuff but was expecting a little more complexity and depth to the flavours for a 7.5% beer!

At a tasting, thanks Naama, small creamy head, deep very hazy orange colour, aroma of citrus and white fruits, with some mustard and just a hint of vinegar, flavour of bread and honeycomb with some fruitiy sourness. Unusual but quite interesting.

Hazy gold beer with a lot of trapped carbonation swirling around. Little white head. Light soft and dry palate. Light malt - a little creamy. A hint of saison character. Sweet orange and then bitter hops. Finishes soft with light creamy malt. Like a light saison/ipa hybrid! Typically Italian eclectic!

Free sample served at a beer tasting session at the Stratfort shopping mole. A deep golden body with a decent white head. Aroma is nice and light fruity with spices. Flavor is fruity, delicate spicy, grainy, yeast and very refreshing. There is a delicate bitterness here, but not IPA type, more like a hoppy Saison. Medium body and a spicy aftertaste. A bit unusually and definitively very nice.

100ml, draught at Open Baladin. Nice white tophead, slowly fading over an amber coloured body. Malt-fruity nose, with hints of lactose. Fruity hops in flavour again with hints lactose and added by grainy malts. Distant bitter ending. Medium bodied. Pleasing, however, a rather unusual IPA (Roma, 31.03.2012).

25 cl. wine/champagne-style bottle sampled @ RBWG 2012 – thx to Diabel – hazy golden with a white head, smell is sweet with white chocolate, yeast & spices (?), taste is equally puzzling, sweet, white sugar, milk chocolate (not in a potentially awesome way), marzipan, floor & spices, creamy body, I am not getting this one
