On tap at Horsens Beerfestival. Dark brown, unclear with a beige head. Dried fruits, sugar and caramel in the aroma. The flavor is sugar, caramel, some malt and spices. Full-bodied, too sweet beer, yet nice. Rating: 6-4-6-4-13-3.3. 061028
On tap at Esbjerg Beerfestival. It’s a hazy, orange-brown beer with a small, white head. Almost syrupy on the nose, not really my idea of Christmas, but far from bad. Some spices and fruits lifts the score. Sweet and malty flavor with spice notes, fruits and a little bitterness. Medium body, quite warm. Cinnamon, sweetness and alcohol in the finish. Overall, a bit anonymous, un-Christmasy and too warm, else it’s nice. 091022
