Bottle. Pours ckoudy amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, yeast and banana, with some hoppy notes. Bitter, hoppy onset, replaced by a sweetish flavour of malt, fruit and banana, ending on an estery note. Creamy mouthfeel, despite lively carbonation. Estery amd slightly bitter aftertaste. Well-balanced and quite enjoyable. Very decent for the style.

(Bottle, Berlin Tempel Airport, 27 July 2014) Hazy golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with bread, banana, canned peaches and some clove. Malty, wheaty taste with notes of bread, wheat-flour dough, banana, peaches and clove. Medium body, with a certain sweetness and low bitterness. Solid and true to the style, but hardly exciting. Quite enjoyable.

Im Augustiner am Gendarmenmarkt, Berlin. - Dunkles Goldgelb, trüb, üppiger sahniger Schaum. - In der Nase Orange, Banane, Birne aber nicht besonders frisch - eher Kompott als frische Früchte. - Im Antrunk Bitterorange, Aprikose, herbe Frucht mit leicht bitterer Note. Prickelnd rezent, leicht kremig, vollmundig. Süßer Weizen, etwas Vanille. Im Abgang weißbiertypisch milde, schwach krautige und etwas dumpfe Bittere. - Wirkt etwas matt und schwerfällig, ohne die spritzig-fruchtige Leichtigkeit der besten Weizenbiere (Karg!). Trinkbar aber nicht herausragend.

500ml bottle. Hazy amber colour with average, frothy, off-white head. Wheaty, fruity, and yeasty aroma, hints of banana, clove, a touch of orange and lemon, slightly bready undertones with hints of baked banana. Taste is moderately sweet wheat malty, hints of banana, pear, a touch of orange, bitter hoppy overtones, prickling carbonation. Quite decent.

Bottle at El Dorado Wine Bar, Monterosso. Hazy golden body with a medium off-white head. Lively carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of orange, lime, green apple and yeast. Flavour of orange and white pepper. Faint mint note. Medium body with a frothy then slightly oily texture. Nice fizz. A juicy Hefeweizen.

Bottle. Orange, hazy body, with a medium, creamy, white head, that leaves some lacing. Aroma of banana, orange, clove, grains, some citrus. Taste with the same aromas. Mouthfeel is medium to light, with a lively carbonation and it finishes fruity, spicy and slightly bitter. Refreshing and easy to drink Weizen, that is a bit light bodied though and lacks some more flavour.

(Bottle, 0.5 l, at Berlin Tegel Airport, 20140423) The beer poured muddy orange and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had clove, banana, fruitiness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were banana, clove, grass, fruitiness, malts and bitterness. Afteraste was fruity, spicy and bitter. A nice hefeweizen. Nothing special but good in its style.
