Aus der Flasche im 2018-04 getrunken. Dieses Saison mit Kakaopulver und Chili kommt in der Nase sehr verhalten und dann am Gaumen sehr bitter herüber. Mir viel zu bitter herüber. Ansonsten sind mir keine Kakao oder Chiliaromen aufgefallen. Nein das Teil geht für mich gar nicht. Das nächste Bier bitte!

Murky dark orange with visible particles, head disappears instantly. Smells of almost nothing, just a vague earthy hint. Taste is more vivid but still definitely empty. Earthy malts, rather strong spiciness, possibily a hint of chocolate powder. Medium bodied with low carbonation, again empty. Downpoured more than half of the bottle. Best before date june 2018, no excuses for being completely faded.

Bottle, 750 ml, shared with JFK10000, Max, Simon. Pours hazy orange, huge white head. Yeasty, spicy, pepper in nose, some citrus notes, moderate sourness. Couldn't really get the chocolate. Unusual. Medium bodied.

75cl bottle courtesy of Erzengel! A slightly hazy golden beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of tart fruits, yeast, yellow fruits. Taste soft tart fruits, brett, wood, herbs, limen, nice!

Säuerlicher, leicht hefiger Antrunk. Eher trocken, helle Malznoten, trocken hefig. Minimal bitterer, rund hefiger Nachhall. 9/10/11/11/10/11

Tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Cloudy amber pour, irregular off-white foam. Nose: esters, spicy, sweet almond cookies, zest. Mouth: refreshing, cocoa and chili are hidden but you can spot them right away if you know it. Round start, confusing finish but quite interesting.

Bottle from luvians. Pours hazy orange with some floaters. Nose is orange, mandarin, apricot, this typical belgian Saison smell that reminds me of maracuja Joghurt. Palate is chocolate (how is this not in the nose?), orange, citrus. Bitter finish. Surprisingly light. Weird but good Saison.
