Color cobre, clara. no mucha espuma. Aroma a cereal tostado.

0,33 l bottle. Clear amber in the glass, small light tanned head. Sweet malty on the nose. Starts with malt, followed by mid bitterness, alcoholic. Okay.

0,33 l bottle. Crystal clear, amber with creamy white, slowly diminishing head. Weak, appetising aroma of molasses, dark cherries and caramel. Sweetish taste which follows the aroma. Medium body, flat carbonation, chewy mouthfeel. Surprisingly intense alcoholic finish. Solid beer I could drink a lot of.

Flaska av kompis, tack Johan! Mörkt bärnstensfärgad vätska. Doft av säd, bröd och aningen karamell. Karamelltonen återkommer i smaken. Relativt hög beska. Smakrik, inte så tokig.

The archetypical bottom-fermented German dark Bock, from Einbeck itself, where the style is said to originate centuries ago. Yellowish white, creamy, bit irregular but dense, albeit not too stable head; colour a pure and warm copper, clear. Malty aroma, Pilsener malts but some caramel and nutty malts as well, biscuit, grassy hops, brandy, honey, orange peel and a smoky, bit tobacco-like accent. Sweetish caramelly and nutty malts in the mouth, smooth and delightful, something honeyish too, quickly shifting into a peppery, spicy hop bitterness paired with some warming, brandy-like alcohol, ending dry and bitter with an ever so slight astringency. Very interesting and important lager, a delight having something like this on a chilly autumn day.
