Bottle from Kiya. Bready nose with honey, light lemon, biscuits. More lemony in the flavor, sweet, oily, a bit herbal. Different, a bit strange, ok.

Bottle. A hazy, dark golden beer with a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma is grainy and fruity with white sugar and some piney hints. Quite grainy flavor too, but with a nice bitterness. Rather dry, yet with a flavor of white sugar. Full body, nice carbonation level. Lasting bitter and grainy finish with a nice bitterness. A drinkable one, but rather uninteresting, and a touch too grainy. 141213

Pours clear golden with a minimal, white head. The aroma contains yeast, spices, fruits, grain and hops. It tastes medium fruity sweet and light hoppy bitter; rather astringent finish, some hops, bit metallic. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Mediocre. (Edited 26/7/17)

Named after the brewery’s original name (De Gouden Arend) and produced since 2006. Creamy white head, golden blonde beer with an aroma of malt sweetishness and light fruitiness, taste again fruity (apple, unripe peaches) with a metallic undertone, medium mouthfeel and mild hop bitterishness in the finish. Rather forgettable.
