Bottle at the Moorings, Aberdeen, 21/06/14. Clear golden with a good sized off white head that retains well. Nose is light citric peel, straw, floral tones, faint orange, pretty thin all in all. The taste offers a little more than the nose but again is subdued considering the ABV, yeast esters, spice, bitter orange, citric peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation with a little prickle, herbal wash in the close. So very so !

Bottle at Moorings. It pours clear golden with a medium white head. The nose is doughy, sweet, grainy, bread and a touch of spice. The taste is bitter-sweet, pear, apple, mild spice, toasty, candy sugar, dull tartness and dough with a short finish. Medium body and high carbonation. Fairly standard Belgian blond, but it drinks pretty easy.

Troebel donker geel bier met weinig schuim. Licht zurige smaak, kruidig, citroen, koriander. Komt licht over. Blijft redelijk lang hangen.

33cl Bottle at Café Gollem. Slightly hazy deep golden colour, white head. Aroma of light bready malts, light fruity, unripe fruits, yeast, light spice. Flavour is light to medium sweet, malty, dry, yeast, light fruity sourness, fruity dry light bitter finish. Light-bodied. Decent blond ale, but not outstanding in any way.
