Bottle, thx to fonefan. It poured a hazy orange body with lots of microfloaties and a beige head leaving lacings. Pleasant fruity nose with hints of tea, sweetness and orange. Sweet and fruity flavor with a little tea and orange and some herbal notes. Quite dry, effervescent medium body. Orange finish with tea and herbs. A fine beer. (080412)

Bottled. Hazy orange brown color, huge white head. Loads of carbonation. Aroma is spicy, ginger, fruity of orange, mandarin, distinct spice. Clean watery taste, hint of caramel, orange. Ends with a dusty spicy aftertaste, bit dry. Strange but nice brew.

Bottle picked up at Dranken Geers, Gent, Belgium. Had this 13-03-08 Pours a hazy amber colour, darkish amber maybe with the odd yeast floaty in there. I get some bubblegum on the nose Loz said rotting vegetation? How we can differ so much I don’t know but I sort of know where she’s coming from, we both settle on there being a mustiness to this which isn’t unpleasant. I also get some ginger or galangal in the mouth but it’s weakish and more than balanced out by sweet malts and molasseses. I quite like this, but it’s quite difficult to catergorise.

ZBF2008: From tap. Pours hazy to murky orange/brown with a lacing white head. Caramel malt and light spiced aroma. Flavour starts sweet with a light toffee like caramel flavour. Subdued spice note too. Light butterish feel and flavour, not distinct diacetyl as such. Ends nice and smooth with a mix of toffee and spice.

Bottled. Amber colour, white mediumsized foamy head. Aroma is caramel, yeast, slight metallicness and a bit of sugar. Flavour is very much the same, but the metallicness is not so strong, instead there is an underlaying tone of fruits.

Test vom 17.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,4,5,4,8,4 - 4,85
