Big offwhite coarse head. Hazy amber body. Light, fruity yeasty aroma with sugar, marzipan, and malt notes. Deep, sweet yeasty sugary lightly roasty spicy taste with warming character. Nice and drinkable. (0.33l bottle from Dorstvlegel, Antwerp.)

Test vom 17.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,4,5,4,8,4 - 4,85

Bottle at Carlsens "skvatter", Odense: unclear amber with white head. Aroma and taste of malts (wheat), spices & fruits (berries). Sweetness with a soft mouthfeel. Pleasant lasting finish.

Dark sugary berry (blackcurrant) and orange aroma. Dark chestnut, tanned, slightly grey head. Sugary, berrynotes again, apples, minerals, some dead yeast. Relatively light body and a bit fizzy. Wooden aftertaste.

(Bottle 33 cl) Beautiful dark amber with a small, fine and very dense head, which flattens out as some sort of lid on top of the beer. Tart, spicy nose with a lot of sourness in the aroma - almost making this a sour Flemish ale. Appears filtered to begin with but turns a very hazy greyish brown if you pour the sediment. Traces of yeast even inside the bottles neck. A rather unusual yet interesting beer. 040505

Bottle. Very highly carbonated, big head. Aroma fruity and sour. Very acidic flavour, a hint of strawberry. Tastes a bit like vinegar, but I like it. Possibly infected? Different bottle: Malty, perfumy/soapy aroma. Brown colour, small creamy head. Flavour also malty with a hint of perfume. Sweet aftertaste.

Bottled. Muddy orange. Aroma of caramel and lemon. Merdium bodied with clean mouthfeel and some flowery hops. Warming and refreshing. An interesting beer.

Hazy dark amber color. An Ale with a yeasty aroma, and the flavor is a bit vegetables and apples. Simple.

Explosive bottle; cloudy amber color. Nice malty and fruity aroma, but the age has worn out too much the malt, and the mouthfeel is thin; still can perceive the good hopping. Promising…

Slight gushing to rather slim white head; totally hazy caramel-orange. Very aromatic nose, herbal (lunaria), flowery, spicey as coriander and orange peel. Following the label, none of the above added. Soupy taste indeed, yeasty and coriander. And quite some citrus. Wheat, no doubt, but not obvious. There is again this flowery aroma in the taste. Can't place it. Sourish -wort character, as sour mash. Rather velvety mouthfeel, well-bodied. Quite home-brew like. Not satisfying.

The aroma is very fruity with strong notes of oranges and apples and weak notes of yeast. The color is an unclear dark orange with brown notes, and it has a beutiful head. The flavor is rather sweet with strong fruit notes of oranges and apples and weaker notes of yeast and wheat. It has a lovely acidicness that rolls in the cheeks. The flavor is great, a pretty fresh, and very complex one. One of the very best beers I've ever had.
