330ml bottle from EeBria, thanks to Stuu666 for ordering. Pours hazy pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of lemongrass, herbs, light tropical fruit, papaya maybe. Some woody yeast notes at the back. Taste is lemon, lime, orange, sweet starburst kind of thing. Not much saison character. Nice enough though.

Keg at The Hanging Bat. Hazy amber body with a thin white head. Light lacing. Aroma of lime chutney, orange juice and herbs. Flavour of biscuit, caramel, lime sweets and physalis. Medium body with an oily texture. Lively fizz. On paper this sounded amazing. It almost lives up to how I imagined it tasting - it’s a bit sweeter and less zingy than I’d hoped. Came out second best in a side-by-side comparison with Crooked Stave’s Vielle Artisnal.

Tap. Magic Rock Tap. Very hazy gold. Thick, bubbly, sticky, lasting, white head. Nose has bready, fusty malt, and juicy peach hop, in pretty equal measure. Get the grapefruit zest and the lemongrass. Taste is juicy bitter. Some zesty tang. Clean, and massaging palate. Finishes zesty bitter.
