Bottle from Beavertown. It pours hazy orange with a decent white head. The nose is bready malt, toasty grain, cereal, kaffir lime, lemongrass, straw and apple. The taste is crisp, bitter, bready, ambergris, zesty grapefruit, lime, lemon, banana, spice, cereal, cracker, touch of acidity, alcohol and apple with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Strikes a good balance. Rather good.

Bottle from Rainbow launch 2015. Hazy orange gold colour lasting white head. Saison house typical aroma. Some herb. Some fullness. Orange lemon and lime. Yes quite a herbal saison. But full malty mouth feel and some ok hop on the finish. Touch of herbal soap. OK.
