Tap at Kafe België, Utrecht: Pretty good example of the Tripel style, its has some orange and spicy taste.

Classic nice beer. But no more just a phenolic oozy belgian blonde. Brig beertj bruge.

Bottle from Wine Raks, St Swithin Street. It pours clear yellowy blonde with a rugged white head. The aroma is soft, white bread, biscuit, quite mellow, touch of green banana, banana split, nougat and melon. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, pleasing grassy bitterness, straw, touch of green banana, floral accents, pear skin, melon, slightly phenolic, peppery spice and a nip of booze with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Shame about that slightly phenolic element, but it's decent overall.

Clear yellow appearance with lasting thin head. Aroma and flavour have a lot of spices. I think there's a lot of gale and some clove. Too spicy and herbal for me.

Backlog January 2010. Unclear ale yellow golden body under a creamy white head. Aroma is fruity and spicy like salvia. Taste is sweet but refreshing, spicy like aroma and hint of citric fruit. Medium body and same aftertaste. Feels a bit unbalanced at the first sips (small sample) but giving it a bit time to settle it gets more balanced, an interesting take on the style.

33cl bottle in 't Brugs Beertje on 30th Jan 2020. Light haze to the golden pour, white crown that stayed on top. Fairly sweet and malty brew with a yeasty/herbal feel to the nose and taste. Not a 'typical Belgian Tripel' but not much to set it apart from many others in the style, still enjoyed it.

Light orange color, frothy head. Citrus and curacao aroma. Sweetish, spicy, yeast and some hops. Not too alcoholic for its ABV. Full bodied, oranmge hidden behind the yeast. Fine beer, lacking a bit in balance.

Tap @Luppolo12 (Rome). Hazy golden bright, persistent white foam. Nose: spicy, peppermint a bit, bubblegum. Mouth: lovely sweet/spicy, dry, more bubblegum.
