Bottle at home. Aroma is wheat, fruity notes, banana, yeast, clove. Flavour is light sweet. Body is medium. Ordinary but pleasant Weizen.

--Bottled. -- Hazy bronze colour, firm mid sized head. Distinct banana aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Spun sugar, ripe banana and wheat bun dough. Low bitterness.

Bottle. No Zipfer on the label, only Brau Union. Color: Hazy golden to amber, white head. Aroma: Yeasty, banana. Taste: Wheat, yeasty, quite a lot of banana. Smooth almost creamy mouthfeel. Just over medium body, just under average carbonation. A bit too much banana for me, otherwise a nice Weissbier.

Bottle from Spar in Aigen im Ennstal. Murky colour for a hefe. Little discernable taste. Very average hefe. (18/6/22) --- Rerated. Bottle from somewhere. 2.7 to 2.8.

Fles 50cl thuis. Fruitig, banaan, vrij zoet, vrij romig, klein zuurtje, süffig, yeasty. (24-9-2021).

In der Optik trüb, bernsteinfarben mit hellorangen Reflexen. die weiße, feinporige, fast cremig wirkende Schaumkrone gibt sich sehr stabil und auch sehr gut haltbar. Der Geruch gibt sich ganz typisch hefig, fruchtig und erinnert an reife Banane. Der Antrunk kommt frisch, spritzig und bananig-fruchtig - genau so, wie man es auch erwarten mag. Die Aromatik am Gaumen zeigt sich ebenso sehr typenspezifisch. Weich, leicht süßlich-fruchtig, gute Noten von Banane und leichte Aprikose. Eine leicht Säure vermag man auch zu vernehmen - diese ist aber in das Gesamtbild ganz gut eingebunden. Das alles wirkt ganz akzeptabel und auch rund. Die Vollmundigkeit passt und auch das Trinkgefühl und die Süffigkeit finde ich okay. Die Haptik im Abgang ist genau so, wie nach dem Essen einer Banane oder dem Trinken eines Bananenschakes. Für mein Empfinden ein ganz gutes Weizen, welches meines Erachtens mit vielen klassischen bayerischen Weißbieren mithalten kann.
