Bottiglia. Il naso vira verso impressioni di sottobosco. L'intensità olfattiva è molto elevata e la maniera in cui permane è considerevole. Il cappello di schiuma è inesistente. Il colore è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è strutturato ma duttile. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è molto elevata e la durata è buona e lunga. Il gusto è piacevolissimo. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, frutta secca, agrumi, frutta passita, uvetta bagnata nel rum, cherry, vino Porto e vino passito.

Bottle from Kvickly, Middelfart. Hazy dark brown with tiny beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, heavy dried fruit and a hint of red wine. Flavor is very sweet. Sweet finish with a little warming alcohol. Soft. 060821

Bottle. Clear, very dark brown, tiny light beige head. Dried fruit and caramel aroma. Sweet flavour, dried fruit, prunes, notes of red wine and caramel malt flavour. Nice warming, sweet malty finish. Carb is flat. Ok sipper.

Pours dark brown/almost black, no head, basically no carbonation. Intense, vinous, barrel-aged, woody aroma. Berries, fruit, some sourness. Very complex, loads of different flavours from the barrel. Medium body. Sweet, surprisingly light for 12.5%. Really complex and intense barrel flavours, vinous, berries, grapes, fruit, a hint of sour wine, lots of woodiness, smooth, caramel. Finish is sweet and woody, complex and fruity, not too long. Brilliant stuff.
