(750ml 2020 clear crowncap bottle from Sardines, Quebec City) Pours nearly clear bright pinkish red with a decent white head of white froth that's pretty stable with lace. Aroma of wild strawberry, cranberry, subtle raspberry, some citrus peels, Bretty hay, wood, maybe a little cardboard. Flavour is quite dry and only lightly tart, with notes of strawberry, red forest berries, rosé wine, lime, very mineral, some lambic-like old wood and cellar, soft funk. Finish is almost sweet from the berries but dries heavily, cranberry-type notes, lightly bitter from wood and dry leaves. Medium bodied, soft bottle-conditioned carbonation. Elegant and restrained, moreso than some of Auval's fruited wild ales. Dry and surprisingly wine-like. Big fan.

Bouteille 75cl @ Annual Tilquin Enthusiasts tasting. Merci Pierre. No BB.

MBCC Gold Session, 'No Riff Raff'. Keg. Hazy pinkish red beer, small peachy colour head. Palate is light and semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Modest tart berries and a little floral fruits. Light semi dry finish, a little dull but okay.

Keg at MBCC Bronus Gold session, 13/05/18. Reddish pour with a light crimson cap. Nose is light berry sherbets, grassy, straw, funky, light barnyard. Taste comprises damp straw, cherry skins, stoned fruits, light must, funk. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with mellow acidity. Passable sour but lacks complexity and nothing I'd return to.
