Brewed with cocoa, coffee and Lactose this beer will excite the coffee nerd and the stout geek inside you. Packaged with Nitro this beer should be poured vigorously into the proper glass to cascade the beer into a finely packed fluffy whipped cream head, giving the beer a lush mouthfeel and thickness from the lactose and nitro, yet surprisingly light and easy to sip. Flavors of Mocha, chocolate and roasty goodness all the way through. This beer is the first of many brewed with Nitro from Lervig.

Black beer, decent light head. Not much arona. Very light vanilla, maybe? Flavour is coffee, a little vanilla again, some chocolate. It's pretty mellow, and very smooth as you'd expect from a a nitro. Doesn't have a big punchy flavour but it's very drinkable.

Fra 0,5 boks på Mi2 Cardinal, des-20: helt svart med beige skum. Mørke malter (hint av røykmalt?), sterk nybrygget kakao tilsatt litt kaffe, 70%-sjokolader og overmodne bjørnebær. Tørr avslutning gjør den eminent lettdrikkelig.

Can. Pours cloudy very dark brown with very small tan head. Clear aroma of roast, malt and yeast, with hints of fruit. Bitter, roasty and hoppy flavour with sweetish notes of caramel malt, yeast and chocolate, and touches of fruit. Roasty aftertaste with malty and estery notes. Low carbonation. Reasonable.

Can, 6%. Mild fruity and roasted aroma. Almost black colour. Very small frothy light brown head. Dark chocolate flavour. Quite sweet from what must be lactose. Very low carbonation, too low for me.

Buena, Refrescante.
